The Isar Bicycle Path leads from the Alps along the Isar River.
You always cycle along the charming mountain river and through
the hilly foothills of the Alps until you reach the state
capital Munich. From Munich onward, quiet floodplain trails and
forests determine the image of the Isar River Bicycle Path until
it ultimately reaches Plattling in the vicinity of the Danube
River. The bicycle path is hardly strenuous, since it always
leads downstream through hilly to flat terrain along the Isar
River. But we also offer more demanding bicyclists different
variations, which can also inspire sports enthusiasts with
gradients and un-surfaced routes. The Isar Bicycle Path is the
